Tiergan rallies from last and widest of all to win debut

Tiergan didn't need the benefit of a gold rail to win at first asking as he rallied 10 wide in the stretch and rallied from last to win his debut for Bill Mott and Donegal Racing

New York-bred son of Afleet Alex was last early under Junior Alvarado, swing four wide around the turn and went wider still entering the stretch before rallying to get up.

Tiergan beat 29-1 shot Show Prince, trained by Gary Sciacca.

Tiergan covered six furlongs in 1:11.49 and returned $14.40 to win.
