It's Gonna Hurt (8-1) led throughout Saturday's $100,000 Speakeasy Stakes for 2-year-olds at five furlongs on turf, earning a fees-paid berth for the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint at Churchill Downs on Nov. 2.

Ridden by Tiago Pereira, It's Gonna Hurt was timed in 56 seconds, and held off 10-1 Whooping Jay and the filly Mae Never No, the 6-5 favorite who finished third.

It's Gonna Hurt, by Violence, has won 2 of 3 starts. He won an $80,000 claiming race for maidens at Del Mar on Aug. 4. The Speakeasy Stakes was the turf debut for It's Gonna Hurt.
