Sharp debut for Fortin Hill who wins by 5 1-2 lengths

The 2-year-old Fortin Hill broke like a shot under Irad Ortiz Jr,, then settled off a hard-sent Starting Point before taking over from that one turning for home and rolling to a 5 1-2-length debut victory in an auspicious career debut.

Fortin Hill, a son of Mucho Macho Man who brought $575,000 at the OBS 2-year-old-in-training auction, covered six furlongs in 1:09.56. He is owned by Larry Best's OXO Equine and trained by Chad Brown.

He returned $4.50 as the 6-5 fave.
