Desert Encounter outruns Thundering Blue in International

Desert Encounter (8-1) beat out another English runner, the troubled favorite, Thundering Blue, to take the G1 Canadian International.

Andrea Azteni rode the winner for trainer David Simcock. The final time for the 12 furlongs over good turf was 2:28.88.
