Apocalyptical Jess ($3) won his trial for the Texas Classic Futurity on Saturday night at Lone Star Park in his first start since capturing the $3 million All American Futurity on Labor Day at Ruidoso Downs.

Apocalyptical Jess was always prominent while covering 400 yards on a muddy, sealed track in 19.78 seconds. His time currently ranks sixth with five more trials to go, it was announced at Lone Star.

Apocalyptical Jess won by a half-length. The $1 million Texas Classic Futurity is the richest race in Texas.
