Mike Smith will ride McKinzie and John Velazquez will be aboard West Coast in the $6 million Breeders' Cup Classic on Nov. 3 at Churchill Downs, Bob Baffert, who trains both horses, said Friday morning at Santa Anita.

Smith has been riding both in recent starts. West Coast is going to stud next year, McKinzie remains in training as a 4-year-old.

Both are scheduled to have their final works for the Classic on Saturday morning here at Santa Anita.
