The last overseas Breeders' Cup starters, those trained by Aidan O'Brien in Ireland, were en route to Churchill Downs on Monday.
O'Brien has 15 entrants for eight Breeders' Cup races.
So Perfect was pre-entered in the Juvenile Turf Sprint and the Juvenile Fillies Turf but runs in the Juvenile Fillies Turf. Also in that race is Sergei Prokofiev. Both horses have the credentials to win. A third JTS pre-entrants, Van Beethoven, also reportedly is shipping though he'd need several unexpecred defections to get into the race.
Just Wonderful runs in the Juvenile Fillies Turf. Hermosa, who was among the pre-entrants, ran Sunday in France and isn't traveling here.
Anthony Van Dyck is O'Brien's lone starter in the Juvenile Turf. Broome was pre-entered but isn't shipping. Anthony Van Dyck figures to be favored to give O'Brien his fifth win in the race.
Lost Treasure runs in the Turf Sprint, his fourth start in a month.
Magic Wand and Athena are the runners for the Filly and Mare Turf.
Gustav Klimt, Happily, and I Can Fly run in the Mile. Clemmie also reportedly has shipped for the race though she stands little chance of making it into the field.
Magical and Hunting Horn run in the Turf. Expect Hunting Horn to take up a pace-making role.
Mendelssohn starts in the Classic.
The 3-year-old Seahenge has traveled the world with Mendelssohn and he is coming to Louisville to keep him company again this week.
All of O'Brien's BC starters will race on Lasix.
