A funeral service for Larry Snyder, one of the all-time winningest jockeys who became a steward upon his retirement from riding, will be held Saturday at the Hot Springs Convention Center in Arkansas, according to a posting by Gross Funeral Home. The services will begin at 10 a.m. Central. The address is 134 Convention Blvd., in Hot Springs, Ark.
A visitation for Snyder will be Friday night, from 6-8 p.m. at Gross Funeral Home, which is located at 120 Wright St., in Hot Springs, Ark.
Snyder was a career winner of 6,388 races and he won multiple riding titles in Arkansas, Illinois and Louisiana. He was a longtime steward at Oaklawn, which is located in Hot Springs.
