Shang Shang Shang out of BC

Shang Shang Shang, winner of the Group 2 Norfolk Stakes in June at Royal Ascot in her most recent outing, has been scratched from today's Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint owing to the soft turf conditions, trainer Wesley Ward said this morning.

The scratch allows the first also-eligible, synthetic stakes winner Big Drink of Water, in to the main field of 12 if he wants to run. The other three also-eligibles have been scratched.
