Stretch-runner Gamble's Ghost will try the 10-furlong Maple Leaf for the second year in a row, while seeking her fourth straight stakes victory. Bletchely could be the main threat, even though it's her first start on synthetics. The New York-based grasser Empressof the Nile is another wild card, going a distance that's within her range.

Woodbine Mile runner-up Mr Havercamp is by no means a cinch in the mile and a sixteenth Autumn. Decorated Soldier has notched two stakes in a row, and another Norm McKnight charge, Florida Won, is also in good form. Gigantic Breeze won last year's Autumn, and two-time Canadian champion Are You Kidding Me won it in 2015-16.
