Friday's program at Santa Anita will start at 12:30 p.m., Pacific - 30 minutes earlier than scheduled - to accommodate a nine-race program. This has been a frequent occurrence at this meeting, when weekdays program were booked to start at 1 p.m. The earlier post is needed to finish the program well before dusk.

The races have fields of 7, 6, 7, 8, 7, 9, 8, 7 and 8. Four of the races are on turf.
