Misschief Maas returned quick dividends off the claim for trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. after running down the odds on Starship Reina to capture the Eos starter allowance stakes. Ironically, Joseph claimed the winner for $25,000 from Jorge Navarro, who saddled the favorite in quest of his 999th career win.  Misschief Maas was ridden by Tyler Gaffalione and paid $9.00.
