As expected, there will be NO turf racing today during a 12-race card at Gulfstream, which is the main reason track officials rescinded their originally intended forceout of the Rainbow 6 pool for today (the forceout was cancelled Friday morning after having been announced earlier in the week). There's a carryover of $764,722 after the big Pegasus World Cup card here yesterday, and a GP spokesman just said there is no intended forceout in the forseeable future, although obviously that's subject to change.

The main track as of 10 a.m. ET was still a sea of slop and was being floated by the track crew, and with rain chances being forecast in the range of 30 to 60 percent throughout the afternoon, it appears unlikely the track will ever get a chance to dry out.

First post today is 11:45 ET, with the 12th set for about 5:20.
