Charles Town cancels Wednesday night card ahead of cold front

Charles Town on Tuesday afternoon canceled its Wednesday night card in advance of an approaching cold front that is expected to bring extremely frigid temperatures to the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states.

Racing at Charles Town is scheduled to resume Thursday, even though cold temperatures will likely be ongoing in the region.
