What would a day be without rain in Southern California these days?

Rain began falling in the last hour at Santa Anita, leading track officials to seal the track. The track has been rated good this afternoon. The rain is light but persistent. There was more than three inches of rain in this area on Thursday. It does make the mountains very green.
