Chalkplayers off to a good start Sunday at Gulfstream Park after red hot Irad Ortiz Jr slips 3-5 Trenchtown Cat up the rail to take the opener.  Another 12 race card to be decided under unseasonably warm, sunny skies over a fast main track and firm turf.  For those who just can't get enough, there will be a dozen more tomorrow and just for good measure 11 races when racing resumes after the single dark day on Wednesday.

The lone allowance race on the day comes late, the 11th, with Mr. French looking to extend his current winning streak going five furlongs on the turf.
