Karl Broberg hit a milestone of 3,000 career training victories in North America on Friday, a day when he won five races at three different tracks. The milestone was hit at Sam Houston, when Sarge's Daughter won the seventh race at 10:19 p.m. Central. 

Broberg had won three races at Delta Downs prior to that, his last win there coming at 8:29 p.m. Central. He also had a winner at Oaklawn.
