Lady Apple, the gutsy winner of the Fantasy on Friday at Oaklawn, was bright and alert at trainer Steve Asmussen’s barn Saturday.
Asmussen said Lady Apple will fly to Churchill Downs on Monday and is being considered for the Kentucky Oaks.
She earned 100 points for the filly classic with her win in the Fantasy.
