Favored Morticia rallied from fourth to take command in early stretch of Saturday's $100,000 Giant's Causeway at Keeneland, and held off a late charge from Excessivespending to prevail by a neck.
Ridden by Irad Ortiz Jr., Morticia raced 5 1/2 furlongs on a firm turf course in 1:03.18, paying $6.40. Rusty Arnold trained the winner, a 5-year-old daughter of Twirling Candy, for owner-breeder G. Watts Humphrey Jr.
Runner-up Excessivespending finished a length ahead of California raider Surrender Now in third.
Two more stakes are left on the day: The Lexington and Ben Ali.
