I picked FIRENZE FIRE (3) in the stakes preview we did, but I was fearful he'd end up being the favorite; at his current price, I won't play him. If I were to make a wager in this race, it would likely be between SKYLER'S SCRAMJET (2) (if he stays at 4-1) or BON RAISON (6). The rationale for Skyler's Scramjet is obvious, and the thought behind Bon Raison is this: is there a chance this pace ends up being a bit hotter than it may seem at first glance? Bon Raison could sit just off the pace and possibly take advantage.
