You would have to think Catholic Boy's connections are thrilled with his 2019 bow in the just completed Dixie Stakes.
Not only did Catholic Boy win the Dixie in his first outing since being eliminated at the start of the Breeders' Cup Classic, he apparently did so without being unduly pressed.
Now, Catholic Boy is perfectly set up for whatever his people want to do with him this year. And being the rare horse who is equally effective on both turf and dirt, the options are plenty. He can go Suburban-Whitney if he wants, or the Arlington Million and other rich turf events are viable paths, too.
