Nicely bred Award Winner goes in the fifth at Churchill; Trakus notes on his last race

The fifth race at Churchill on Sunday has drawn Award Winner, (#8) a wide second in a Keeneland allowance April 12. A son of Ghostzapper out of the Theatrical mare Devine Actress, he is a half-brother to graded stakes-winning millionaires Oscar Nominated and Oscar Performance.

Just how wide was he when racing in the fourth race at Keeneland on Apr. 12? According to Trakus stats, he had the widest trip in a 12-horse field, covering 17 more feet than victorious Demarchelier and 70 more feet than the horse that saved the most amount of ground in the race.
