Fore Left ($4.40) won his debut in a maiden special weight race for 2-year-olds at 4 1-2 furlongs, holding off a late run from Phantom Boss to win by a neck in 51.88 seconds.
The main track was listed as fast for the third race. It was wet-fast for the first two races after early morning rain.
Fore Left, a colt by Twirling Candy, is trained by Doug O'Neill for Paul and Zillah Reddam and was ridden by Martin Garcia.
Fore Left was purchased for $97,000 at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale in 2018.
