Comical, a 2-year-old filly by Into Mischief, dazzled in her career debut in a maiden special weight race for 2-year-old fillies at 4 1-2 furlongs in Sunday's fourth race.

Ridden by Rafael Bejarano, Comical ($5.40) dueled with 3-2 favorite Golden Star Lady for the opening quarter-mile before pulling away in the final furlong. Comical was timed in 52.32 seconds.

Trained by Doug O'Neill, Comical races for Erik Johnson, Mark Verge and Dave Kenney. She was purchased for $100,000 at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale in 2018.
