Pimlico: Almost $1.2 million in fresh money bet into mandatory payout Rainbow 6 pool

The total 20-cent Rainbow 6 pool on the final card of the Pimlcio meet Monday is $1,455,199 after $1,193,426 in fresh money was wagered into the pool. There was a carryover of $261,773 coming into the day.

There will also be mandatory payouts today on the late pick five and the final race Super Hi 5.

Race 4, the first race of the Rainbow 6, was won by Can He Shine, who paid $8.20. Can He Shine, who is trained by Kieron Magee, went wire to wire in the 1 1/16-mile race under seven-pound apprentice Avery Whisman.
