The closing-day, mandatory payout Rainbow 6 at Pimlico on Monday returned $14,231 on a 20-cent bet after 7-1 Mohkeef nailed 4-1 Electro in the shadow of the wire in the race 9 finale, a 1 1/16-mile turf race.
The first five winners of the Rainbow 6 were Can He Shine ($8.20), Bustin Hearts ($15.60), Lemon Zip ($8.60), America's Prince ($7.80), and Railmaster ($5.40). Mohkeef paid $17.
The Super Hi 5 on the final race also had a mandatory payout. It paid $116.20 for a dollar bet to anyone having Mohkeef first and Electro second. The bet paid off to "all runners" in the third, fourth, and fifth slots.
Uhwarrie Sky finished third at 8-1, Kopper wired was fourth at 25-1, and Ride to the Sunset was fifth at 4-1.
The late pick five that began with Bustin Hearts paid $8,125 for 50 cents.
