Tiz Toffee ($2.80) won her second consecutive race in Saturday's second race and proved popular at the claim box.
Tiz Toffee, a 4-year-old filly by Sidney's Candy, was taken in a five-way shake by Jonathan Wong. This is the third time in the filly's last four starts since has been claimed.
Tiz Toffee, trained for Saturday's race by Andrew Lerner, finished a half-length in front of 5-1 Ciao Luna, who was eight lengths clear of 10-1 Pied N True. Cialo Luna was claimed by Gary Stute, who had lost the 4-year-old filly via claim fo $16,000 on April 27.
The claim of Ciao Luna was voided at approximately 2:30 p.m., an hour after the race. Ciao Luna returns to trainer Mike Puype's stable.
