Alittlesstalk was game in defeating heavily favored Mucho Amor in the $50,000 Kent Stakes. She paid $24.80 for her hard-fought victory in the 6 1/2 furlong dash for 3-year-old fillies.

With Lorenzo Lopez riding, Alittlelesstalk broke sharply and dueled with Forty Six Carats through a first quarter-mile in 22.40 seconds. After disposing of Forty Six Carats she was immediatly collared by Mucho Amor midway through the turn. The pair raced as a team the rest of the way with Alittlelesstalk prevailing by a long neck. Senordiablo rallied to finish third.
