Mocito Rojo drew post five in a field of six for the $100,000 Evangeline Mile at his Evangeline Downs base June 22. The race is the highlight of the meet. Entries were taken Friday.
Mocito Rojo is coming off a win in the Grade 3, $300,000 Steve Sexton Mile at Lone Star Park. The Evangeline Mile will go as the eighth race on a nine-race program.
