Jockey Rico Walcott has been cleared to ride. The dominant rider in Alberta, Canada for the past nine years, Walcott recently underwent brain surgery to remove a tumor. According to Walcott's agent Bob Fowlis, the surgery was successful.
"Everything looks good and we're hoping Rico will be back at the races mid-July," said Fowlis. "I was with him when the doctor told him he was good to go."
