Looks like Canterbury Park has gotten lucky with the weather. A couple days ago tonight's forecast called for lots of rain but as of now there's not even a small chance of precipitation until roughly 10:00. Fast and firm for the 11-race card. Stakes action starts in race 4, the $50,000 Hoist Her Flag, from which morning-line favorite Hot Shot Anna (#8) has been scratched, which should come as a surprise to nobody. 

Kool Kate (#3) and Love on Tides (#6) are scratched from the $100K Lady Canterbury, race 5, which I think Remember Daisy (#8) will win. 

Supreme Aura (#2), main-track-only Malibu Max (#4), and California Night (#6) are scratched from race 6, the $100K Mystic Lake Mile.

Winning Number (#6) is the only scratch from race 7, the featured $200K Mystic Lake Derby, which drew a soft-seeming field this year. Just seven 3-year-old remain in the richest race of the Canterbury season.

No scratches from race 8, the $50K Dark Star Cup over six furlongs on dirt.
