Cook said for Friday and Saturday nights, the Thoroughbred races will run early on the card and the Quarter Horse races will go later "to get into Los Alamitos." On the Sunday cards, the Quarter Horses run early and the Thoroughbreds go later, said Cook. There is an afternoon post for Sundays.
