Both JAYWALK (5) and FASHION FAUX PAS (4) have the figures to make them the favorites for this year's Delaware Oaks, but I'm not all-in on either of them. Jaywalk seems to be a shell of what she was as a two-year-old last year (based on this year's form), and Fashion Faux Pas' race in the Lighthearted most recently seemingly appeared out of nowhere.

If you're like me and don't love either of them at short prices, AVALINA (3) seems like the most logical alternative. Trained by Danny Gargan, this daughter of Tale of Ekati has done little wrong in her four race career. The distance doesn't seem like it will be an issue, and while she hasn't defeated much recently, the way she moves suggests she has ability; I'll take her to beat the two big girls in the Delaware Oaks.
