The New York Racing Association office has confirmed that 12 horses were entered Tuesday for Saturday's Grade 1, $1.25 million Runhappy Travers Stakes. The draw for post positions will be at approximately 6 p.m. Eastern at the Adelphi Hotel in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
The field, alphabetically, with jockey assignments: Chess Chief (Mike Smith), Code of Honor (John Velazquez), Endorsed (Joel Rosario), Everfast (Martin Chuan), Highest Honors (Luis Saez), Laughing Fox (Ricardo Santana Jr.), Looking At Bikinis (Javier Castellano). Mucho Gusto (Joe Talamo), Owendale, (Florent Geroux), Scars Are Cool (Tyler Gaffalione), Tacitus (Jose Ortiz), and Tax (Irad Ortiz).
Tacitus, the likely morning-line favorite coming off a troubled-trip second to Tax in the Jim Dandy, will race with blinkers on for the first time.
