Lady Apple edges Gold Standard in Remington Park Oaks to give Asmussen, Santana six wins on card

Lady Apple ($4.40) edged Gold Standard in a tight finish to win the Grade 3, $200,000 Remington Park Oaks and give trainer Steve Asmussen and jockey Ricardo Santana, Jr., their sixth win together on the card. The winner covered the mile and a sixteenth on a fast track in 1:43.65.
