Trainer Wesley Ward scratched Owlette from the Frost King Stakes in favor of next Saturday's South Ocean Stakes. His other filly, the unbeaten speedster Artie's Princess, should be favored against the boys in the seven-furlong sprint for OS juveniles. The other obvious protagonists are the unbeaten Forester's Turn and stakes winner Rockcrest.

The Jackpot Hi 5 carryover is $174K for the 11th, a 14-horse field of $7.5K maidens.

No carryover in the Jackpot Pick 6, which was won for the fourth time yesterday, after being won the day before.
