The date for the annual auction of 2-year-olds in training next spring at Lone Star Park has been changed to April 3, according to an announcement from the Texas Thoroughbred Association. The original date had been March 31. 

The change was made so the sale falls better in relation to the national sales schedule and the opening of Lone Star, according to the press release. The date for the under tack show is April 1. 

The auction will also offer horses of racing age. It is held in the sales pavilion on the backstretch of Lone Star.
