The wet weather that hit the area midweek is gone, but its remnants are still here at Del Mar, where all grass races for today have been moved to the main track, resulting plenty o' scratches and small fields.

There has been no racing since Sunday owing to the cancellation on Thursday, whose card would have looked like today's had Del Mar decided to press forward. Better cards ahead for the weekend, and then next week is the turf festival to close things out.

Here are today's changes:

Race 2 -- off the turf, scratch numbers 1, 4, and 9

Race 3 -- scratch numbers 5 and 6, no show wagering

Race 4 -- off the turf, scratch numbers 3, 5, and 6, no show wagering

Race 6 -- scratch number 1

Race 7 -- scratch number 5

Race 8 -- off the turf, scratch numbers 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, and 12, leaving a field of six. The carryover in the Super Hi-5 will not apply here and will instead move to the finale on Saturday.
