United, second in the Breeders' Cup Turf to Bricks and Mortar earlier this month, worked five furlongs in 1:02.20 on Saturday morning at Del Mar in preparation for the Grade 2, $200,000 Hollywood Turf Cup at 1 1/2 miles on Friday.
The Turf Cup is part of the closing-week turf festival, which begins on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, with the Grade 3, $100,000 Red Carpet for older females at 1 3/8 miles.
