Eysa Jess Jumpn will attempt to win her 10th straight race Saturday night when she starts in the $280,661 Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders Association Breeders Derby at Evangeline Downs in Opelousas, La. The race is one of four Quarter Horse stakes on the card, led by the $1 million LQHBA Louisiana Million. They will go as races 7-10 to form an all-stakes pick four that has a fifty cent minimum. First post is 5:35 p.m. Central. 

Eysa Jess Jumpn has won her last nine starts in a streak that dates back to 2018. This year, she is 8-for-8, among her wins the Dash for Cash Derby over Mpshinning. Eysa Jess Jumpn won her trial for Saturday night's finale by a length and a half Nov. 16. 

Mpshinning will put a perfect Evangeline Downs record on the line when he starts in the LQHBA Breeders Derby. He is 3-for-3 over the local oval. Mpshinning's victories at Evangeline include last year's Louisiana Million. He was the fastest qualifier for Saturday night's finale at Evangeline. 

Sir Runaway Cash and No Freight both bring win streaks into the Louisiana Million. The horses have each won their last three starts, with both turning in length and a quarter trial wins for the Louisiana Millions Sir Runaway Cash was the fifth fastest qualifier and No Freight, the eighth. 

Special Politico set the fastest qualifying time for the Louisiana Million when he won his 400 yard trial in 19.47 seconds Nov. 15 at Evangeline. There were a total of 14 trials for the Louisiana Million.
