Los Al: Talamo is one away for 2,000 career wins

Jockey Joe Talamo recorded his 1,999th career win aboard Tiz Wonderfully ($8.20) in Sunday's sixth race, and has a chance to reach the 2,000-win plateau on Mongolian Humor in the eighth race, the Grade 3 Bayakoa Stakes for fillies and mares at 1 1-16 miles.

Tiz Wonderfully was Talamo's first winner since Nov. 10 at Del Mar.
