There is one scratch to report from the $400,000 Springboard Mile on Sunday's closing-day card at Remington Park. Take out No. 1, Piece of Work, according to the racing office. The defection brings the field size to 11.

The Springboard Mile is part of an all-stakes pick four that runs on races 10-13 and has a minimum guaranteed pool of $100,000. There are no other scratches from the sequence at this time, according to the racing office. The Springboard Mile goes as race 12. 

The main track was fast for works this morning. There is no turf racing Sunday. Forecasters are calling for a high of 43 degrees and partly cloudy skies. First post is 3 p.m. Central.
