Shoplifted, at 4-1, picked up 10 points for the Kentucky Derby when he won the $400,000 Springboard Mile on Sunday at Remington Park. He edged runner-up Answer In and third-place finisher Embolden. Jungle Runner was fourth. The winner covered the mile on a fast track in 1:37.95. Ricardo Santana, Jr., was aboard Shoplifted for trainer Steve Asmussen. The Springboard Mile's second, third and fourth-place finisher earned respective points of 4-2-1.
