Complexity and Roadster, both scheduled to run on Thursday in the Grade 1 Malibu Stakes for 3-year-olds on the opening-day card at Santa Anita, turned in their final works for that race Saturday morning.
Complexity, trained by Chad Brown, went a half-mile in 48.60 seconds. Roadster, trained by Bob Baffert, went three furlongs in 36.20 seconds.
The seven-furlong Malibu is expected to be headed by Omaha Beach. Entries for that race, and the entire Thursday card, are being taken now and will be up later.
