Sam Houston Race Park puts on its annual Houston Racing Festival on Sunday and has drawn a trio of Grade 1 winners for its Houston Ladies Classic, including Kentucky Oaks winner Serengeti Empress. The festival card of six stakes also features the Grade 3, $200,000 John B. Connally Turf Cup and the new $200,000 Texas Turf Mile. First post for the special Sunday card is 1:20 p.m. Central.
