Morning Addiction ($10.40) led throughout a maiden special weight race for 3-year-old fillies at 5 1-2 furlongs in Sunday's third race, holding off a remarkable late rally from 4-5 Regal Beauty to win by a head in 1:05.14.

Regal Beauty broke slowly and closed well with a wide rally to nearly reach the winner.

Morning Addiction, ridden by Jorge Velez, wa sixth in her debut in a maiden special weight race at five furlongs on turf at Del Mar on Nov. 15 for Lee and Susan Searing's CRK Stable and trainer Peter Eurton.
