Greg Tramontin has purchased a half interest in undefeated Louisiana-bred 3-year-old No Parole from owner Maggi Moss. No Parole will stay in the barn of trainer Tom Amoss, who said there's not yet a set plan for the colt's next start.
No Parole, by Violence out of Plus One, by Bluegrass Cat, only has raced in statebred-restricted competition but has crushes his rivals in three starts, winning a Fair Grounds maiden sprint by 14 1/4 lengths, a Fair Grounds sprint allowance by 13 1/2 lengths, and the Premier Prince on Feb. 8 at Delta Downs by 6 1/2 lengths. The Prince was a two-turn, one-mile race, though Delta Downs has a bull-ring oval with a short homestretch and No Parole hasn't yet been tested in a true route - to say nothing of open stakes competition.
No Parole vanned back to Fair Grounds from Delta on Sunday and got three walk days before returning to the racetrack Thursday morning, Amoss said. He's likely to have a timed workout sometime next weekend.
