The field for the Grade 3, $750,000 Southwest Stakes, a Kentucky Derby points race Monday at Oaklawn Park, is coming into focus in advance of the draw on Friday. Oaklawn stakes coordinator Paul McClelland had eight probables as of Thursday morning, with two or three other indiviuals under consideration for the mile and a sixteenth feature. 

The probables are: American Butterfly, Answer In, Chase Tracker, Gold Street, Shoplifted, Silver Prospector, Villainous and Wells Bayou. 

The Southwest will share a card with the Razorback Handicap, which had 10 to 11 probables on Thursday, according to McClelland. Pioneer Spirit, winner of a division of the local Fifth Season, could be the 120-pound starting highweight for the mile and a sixteenth race. The next probable runners on the list are weighted at 118. 

The potential starters also include Bravazo, Guest Suite, Joevia, Math Wizard, Snapper Sinclair and Warrior's Charge.
