Reeve McGaughey gets first win as trainer Thursday at Oaklawn

Reeve McGaughey, son of Hall of Fame trainer Shug McGaughey, registered his first win as a trainer Thursday when Franknjymme ($7.20) captured the seventh race at Oaklawn. It was a first level allowance over a mile and a sixteenth and Declan Cannon was aboard the son of Successful Appeal.

McGaughey trains the horse for Charles LoPresti.
