Jamming Eddy was demoted from second to third for causing interference in the final sixteenth of an allowance race with a $20,000 claiming option for California-breds at a mile in Sunday's seventh race.

Jamming Eddy (4-1) was ruled to have interfered with 2-1 favorite I Can Do This, forcing jockey Abel Cedillo to check I Can Do This. The decision among the stewards was unanimous.

Canyon Crest ($17) rallied outside of those two runners to finish a nose in front of Jamming Eddy, who finished a neck in front of I Can Do This.
